Privacy Policy

1. Overview

SiteRemade provides website, customer relationship management, messaging, scheduling, payment-tracking, analytics, and related business tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information SiteRemade collects, how we use it, how connected Google and Gmail data is handled, and the choices available to users.

By using SiteRemade, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service or connect third-party accounts.

2. Information we collect

Account and workspace information

We may collect information such as your name, email address, business name, workspace membership, account preferences, and authentication information necessary to operate your SiteRemade account.

Business and customer information

When you use SiteRemade, you may add or generate business records such as leads, customer names, contact details, notes, conversations, appointments, invoices, website analytics, activity history, and other information you choose to store in the service.

Website and inquiry information

If you contact SiteRemade through our website, we may collect the information you submit, including your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, project preferences, uploaded logo information, and message content.

Technical information

We may process standard technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser information, request logs, IP-derived security signals, timestamps, device information, and error logs.

3. Google and Gmail data

SiteRemade allows a user to connect a Google account so the user can manage business email from within SiteRemade. Google account access is optional and is initiated only when a user chooses to connect Gmail.

Google data SiteRemade accesses

When Gmail is connected, SiteRemade may request permission to:

• identify the connected Google account and email address;
• read Gmail message data needed to synchronize business conversations into the user's SiteRemade workspace;
• modify Gmail message state when required for inbox synchronization and message handling; and
• send email from the connected Gmail account when the user chooses to send or reply through SiteRemade.

How Google data is used

Google and Gmail data is used only to provide user-facing SiteRemade features that the user requests, including connecting a mailbox, synchronizing relevant email conversations, matching messages to existing leads or conversations, displaying those conversations inside the user's workspace, and sending replies or new messages on the user's behalf.

SiteRemade does not use Gmail message content for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google user data to build advertising profiles.

Storage of Google data

To maintain a Gmail connection, SiteRemade stores connection information such as the connected email address, OAuth access credentials, refresh credentials when provided by Google, permission scope information, token expiry information, and synchronization timestamps. SiteRemade may also store message and conversation information required to display and manage synchronized business communications inside the user's workspace.

Connection credentials are stored server-side and are not intentionally exposed to other SiteRemade users. Workspace access controls are used to separate one customer's data from another customer's data.

Sharing of Google data

SiteRemade does not sell or rent Google user data. We may use infrastructure and service providers only as necessary to host, secure, transmit, or process SiteRemade on our behalf. We do not permit those providers to use connected Gmail data for their own advertising purposes.

Google API Services User Data Policy

SiteRemade's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve SiteRemade; authenticate users; operate workspaces; synchronize connected services; display customer records; send requested communications; provide support; prevent abuse; troubleshoot errors; and comply with legal obligations.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate SiteRemade, such as hosting, database, authentication, email-delivery, monitoring, and infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or SiteRemade, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as part of a business transaction where legally permitted.

We do not sell personal information or Gmail message content.

6. Data retention

We retain account and workspace information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Connected-mailbox data is retained while necessary to provide mailbox features, subject to deletion and disconnection requests.

7. Disconnecting Gmail and deleting connected data

Users can disconnect Gmail from SiteRemade using the mailbox controls in the SiteRemade application. Disconnecting removes SiteRemade's active connection to that mailbox. Users can also revoke SiteRemade's Google access from their Google Account permissions.

If you want us to delete SiteRemade account data or stored data associated with a connected Google account, contact us at hello@siteremade.com. We will process valid deletion requests subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and record-retention requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

• You may choose not to connect Gmail or other optional integrations.
• You may disconnect Gmail from SiteRemade at any time.
• You may revoke SiteRemade's Google permissions from your Google Account.
• You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information.

10. Children's privacy

SiteRemade is intended for business users and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SiteRemade changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
